Day turning to dusk in desert of New Mexico 1976,(50 miles out of Gallup) in 1st Z a '71 240.
1976, no cells, gps, nada.
Came to a four way stop in the middle of nowhere, on one corner was a laundymat, that's all. Car died and wouldn't start. Some dude hitching the other way to some concert, wacked out on mesculine asked if I wanted a hit was the only person I ever saw.
Turned out to be loose spade connector on starter solenoid.
Strange daze indeed !
